Zusammenfassung

Maligne Tumoren der Vagina sind insgesamt selten. Vaginalmalignome, die auch einen Befall der Zervix Übergreifen auf das Orificium externum canalis cervicis aufweisen, werden als primäre Zervixkarzinome klassifiziert, jene mit Befall der Vulva als primäre Vulvakarzinome. Beim Vaginalkarzinom steht eine primäre Strahlentherapie im Vordergrund. Primär operativ werden v. a. Patientinnen mit Tumoren des oberen Scheidendrittels therapiert. Rezidive treten bevorzugt lokoregional in der Vagina bzw. im Becken auf.
