2.8-fs clean single transform-limited optical-pulse generation and characterization

Abstract

We compensated for chirp of ultrabroad-band pulses with an over-one-octave bandwidth (460 – 1060 nm) using a feedback method. Consequently, 2.8-fs, 1.5-cycle transform-limited pulses were generated.
