Zusammenfassung
Die interstitielle Nephritis ist pathohistologisch gut definiert. Im Gegensatz hierzu stehen der äußerst variable klinische Verlauf und die sehr unterschiedliche Ätiologie (Kelly u. Neilson 1996; Klooker u. Brass 1997; Rossert 2001; Schwarz et al. 2000; Takemura et al. 1999). Angaben zur Behandlung bzw. „Behandlungsoptionen“ sind im Schriftum entsprechend zurückhaltend formuliert (Schwarz et al. 2000; Baker 2004).
Die akute interstitielle Nephritis kann eine rapid progressive Glomerulonephritis imitieren (Chang et al. 2001; Giron et al. 2001; Scherberich 1997). Ein Teil der Patienten erreicht die Klinik im akuten oligurischen dialysepflichtigen Nierenversagen (Klooker u. Brass 1997; Kodner 2003). Andere Betroffene leiden an einer „chronischen“ Form, die medikamenteninduziert, postinfektiös oder im Verlauf von Systemerkrankungen entsteht.
