Abstract
Over four years of observing we have covered 65% of the sky between approximately declinations −86° and +20°. Our 45-MHz survey will have the best combination of angular resolution, sensitivity and sky coverage among low frequency maps of the Southern Hemisphere. To facilitate comparisons we are using the same format as the map by Haslam et al. (1982) which is the all-sky survey at the frequency closest to 45 MHz.
