Time representation: An example

Abstract

The representation of time in a network is a challenging problem. In particular when the need arises in the use of networks for production rules. On a broad scale, the development of temporal logic is an attempt to yield an adequate modeling technique. Yet, the main complication remains how to handle the uncertainty which is associated with the occurence of an event, the time length, etc. Fuzzy sets provide such tool. An example of a particular character is presented here.
