Multiple Ionization
Part of the Lecture Notes in Physics book series (LNP, volume 294)

The experimental knowledge on the structure of heavy few-electron ions with Z > 15 is summarized. Hydrogenic and He-like ions are mainly considered. An overview on the experimental techniques is given. Future aspects concerning the heaviest systems are given on the background of the coming new accelerator facilities.
