Part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science book series (LNCS, volume 204)

CIM is not just the summation of existing system philosophies. New techniques are required to provide more flexible product informations. We feel this is a complex task and a big challenge for Symbolic Computation.

A special emphasis should be given on supporting software engineers and system engineers rather than on supplying turn key systems enabling engineers to do traditional tasks quicker.
