Abstract

From measurements of the effects of the magnetic field and the electric field on the giant resistivity anomaly (GRA) observed within the superconducting (SC) transition region, it is found that the magnetic properties of the GRA are the same as those of the SC phase of TaSe3 and there is a threshold electric field in the nonlinear conductivity in the GRA state. It is concluded that the GRA is one aspect of the SC phenomena and suggested that the origin of the GRA is related with the impurity pinning in the SC state.
