Exact Brans-Dicke-Bianchi solutions

Abstract

Using a new method of reduction of the Brans-Dicke field equations we derive various new vacuum solutions as well as some perfect fluid solutions for the class of spatially homogeneous space-times in a unified manner.Exact solutions are given for the isotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker models and for the anisotropic Bianchi types I-IX and for the related Kantowski-Sacks model.
