Ghosts, Anomalies and the geometry of gauge fields

Abstract

We show that the ghosts in gauge theories are differential forms defined on the Group G of Gauge Transformations. The problem of finding the possible anomalous terms (as the triangle anomaly) is related to the problem of studying the cohomology of the Lie Algebra of G.
