Abstract
The asymmetry in proton-proton bremsstrahlung is given for a variety of kinematic conditions in the soft photon approximation. It is argued that the asymmetry may be more sensitive to the unknown higher-order terms than the cross section and is shown that several models giving similar cross sections give quite different asymmetries, which could thus be used to distinguish among models.
