Abstract

The paper contains a description of the turbulent boundary layer generation in an accelerated flow past a rough surface. The flow phenomena are discussed and the results of the measurements are presented on the drafts. The authors distinguished three waves: a pressure wave, a strong pulsation wave and a wave of velocity field disturbances moving through the test-section during the blow. Some undimensional relations were confronted with the results of the measurements.
