Abstrait
Le vieillissement cutané relève de deux mécanismes principaux: au processus de sénescence chronologique, qui touche de manière contemporaine l’ensemble du tégument, s’ajoute au niveau des zones chroniquement exposées au rayonnement solaire des altérations que l’on regroupe sous le terme d’héliodermie. D’autres facteurs interviennent également: ménopause accentuant le phénomène de vieillissement intrinsèque, tabac aggravant le phénomène d’héliodermie.
