Abstract
In this chapter, nonsurgical options will be discussed to treat synovial sarcoma or synovial based benign tumors. A multidisciplinary panel will decide on the best therapeutic treatment. For synovial sarcoma, deeply located and exceeding 5 cm, neoadjuvant therapy will be promoted with curative intent. Immune therapy can stabilize metastatic disease.
Tenosynovial giant cell tumors (TSGCT) benefit from nonsurgical treatment in the diffuse type. Molecular analysis promoted the development of targeted therapy, controlling extensive cases with clinical improvement. The place of radiotherapy in the treatment of TSGCT exists in the association after surgery.
