Using the Ring Neighborhood Topology with Self-adaptive Differential Evolution

This paper investigates the performance of Self-adaptive Differential Evolution (SDE) using a ring neighborhood topology, and compares the results with other well-known DE approaches. The experiments conducted show that using the ring topology with SDE generally improves the performance of SDE in the benchmark functions.
