A Grid-Based Flavonoid Informatics Portal

Abstract

Recently new techniques to efficiently manage biological information of biology have played an important role in the area of information technology. The flavonoids are members of a class of natural compounds that recently has been the subject of considerable scientific and therapeutic interest. This paper presents a Grid-based flavonoids web portal system. We designed relational schema, XML schema for flavonoids information and their user interfaces and proposed interoperable web service components for an efficient implementation of flavonoids web portal.
