Evolutionary Musique Concrète

This paper describes a genetic algorithm that operates directly on time-domain waveforms to produce musique concrète compositions. The form of these compositions is derived from the evolutionary process itself. The aesthetic motivation is discussed and the results of the algorithm are described.
