Abstract

In the first part of our paper we want to depict the dependencies between the two topics ,,Human Resource Management” (HRM) and ,,Knowledge Management” (KM). Next we define competency management and describe a concrete scenario at DaimlerChrysler AG, Wörth Plant where we use ontologies in the context of competency management to do strategic training planning.
