6.4 Conclusions
In this chapter different Plug&Control strategies have been presented. It has been shown how this approach is very promising since, provided that the methodology is applied in a suitable context, it is capable of providing a fast and effective design of the control loop. Obviously, this feature is more relevant in large plants, when there are many (simple) loops to tune.
It is believed that in the future new techniques in this framework can be devised since there is much room for the improvement of the performance, especially for high-order processes.
