Abstract
This chapter introduces a summary of the current status of the Brazilian situation in what concerns global and collaborative environments. It then highlights some challenges and associated needs as well as proposes some recommendations with view to speed up and to improve the adoption of the Collaborative Networked Organization paradigm in Brazil and in neighborhood countries.
