Beyond the Standard Model in Particle Physics and Cosmology: Convergence or Divergence?

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: NATO Science Series ((NAII,volume 209))

Abstract

The modern development of cosmology and particle physics naturally leads to analysis of physics beyond the standard model and of its cosmological impact. We have first positive experimental evidences for new physics. We need physics beyond the standard model for inflationary cosmology with baryosynthesis and nonbaryonic matter and energy. The principal ideas of cosmoparticle physics, studying mutual relationship between cosmology and particle physics are briefly reviewed. These ideas offer the way to study the theory of everything and the true history of the Universe, based on it, in the proper combination of their indirect physical, astrophysical and cosmological signatures.
