Abstract
This chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the kinematic behavior and stress of prismatic beams, plates, diaphragms, bellows, shells and their possible nonlinearity. All of these elastic elements are usually relatively thin for larger possible deflections from the initial unloaded position and smaller stresses. Corresponding methods of effective structural synthesis are developed.
