80 Gbit/s Multi-Channel Soliton Transmission over Transoceanic Distances

  • Chapter
Massive WDM and TDM Soliton Transmission Systems

Part of the book series: Solid-State Science and Technology Library ((SSST,volume 6))

Abstract

The in-line modulation schemes up to 80 Gbit/s per channel and its two-channel WDM soliton transmission over 10000 km are described. The polarization mode dispersion can be also reduced by the in-line modulation.
