Abstract

I describe recent outflow results from the Gornergrat, 3 m telescope and discuss them in the context of the support of molecular clouds. Recent results in modeling clumpclump interactions and in finding outflows in unbiased surveys lend support to the idea that outflow energy is the major source of support for some clouds. I devise a “turbulent luminosity” for discussing the energetics of cloud support.
