Abstract

The breakthrough in the field of wireless technologies, such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the availability of large volume of customer data and the growing use of beacon messages, all of these contribute to the development of a solution that makes shopping more enjoyable and efficient for the customer with the real-time monitoring facilitating the business management. The objective of this paper is to present a BLE solution using beacon technology applied to Geomarketing. The study addresses the construction of an application that makes use of BLE technology.
