Abstract

This chapter examines the viewpoints of Khomeini, Shariati and Bazargan, through critical comparisons between them in terms of their proposed plans for returning to Shia principles. It concludes with a review of the concept of ideology to help illuminate the similarities and differences between the thought systems of Khomeini, Shariati and Bazargan.
