A Research on Temperature Control System of Server Room Using IPMI

Abstract

In this paper, we describe the design of remote monitoring program using IPMI driver included in BMC among the latest IT technologies. It is a program that controls the operation of turning the cooling system on and off according to the temperature by measuring the server room temperature. In this paper, we show the usability of the program, the order of kernel compilation, the directionality, necessary system, some source code, and Ganglia monitoring screen.
