Abstract

There are some limitations in acquiring motion data from images without markers. But, low-cost ultra-speed cameras have been commercialized, therefore we can overcome the limitations using ultra-speed cameras. In order to obtain motion data from images, three or more cameras are needed and the established information, that is, camera parameters for all cameras are known. It is called camera calibration. This paper presents an efficient method for camera calibration based on a calibration pattern which consists of a circle and a rectangle.
