Abstract

This paper illustrates the constructional plan of an inset feed mechanism microstrip patch antenna. The essential advantage of employing inset cut feed is not only increasing the antenna bandwidth but its return loss is also improved suitably. Our antenna has been simulated using hexagonal patch on both defected and non-defected ground plane. It has been realized that operation of the antenna, acquires development according to the size of the patch, over usual design.
