Data Preparation and Sampling
After installing RQDA, the next step is to import qualitative data that you want to analyze. This chapter discusses the techniques to convert qualitative data (i.e., words) into the data format supported by RQDA. We also offer techniques to combine several pieces of files into a corpus (a corpus file) and other “tricks” to prepare the data for RQDA analysis. With respect to primary data collection, it discusses how to systematically conduct sampling (e.g., for interviews, news articles).
