Abstract

In the present chapter, an effort is being made to explore and examine the religious affiliation of Vaiśeṣika school of Indian philosophy with the Pāśupata sect of Hindu religion. The exposition will mainly be based on several references available in the internal sources of Vaiśeṣika and also gathered from other texts of Indian philosophical tradition.
