Abstract

We have asked leading experts from around the world to contribute to this book on the management of oral premalignancy. The book includes an up-to-date and comprehensive analysis of risk factors and systemic conditions that can lead to oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) as well as a description of carcinogenesis at both molecular and genetic levels. Specific premalignant conditions are discussed, and detailed management strategies are provided. In the remaining chapters, current, interesting and useful information on the various premalignant conditions are included which we hope will enhance clinical practice and patient care.
