Bringing Stability to World Food Supplies with Japanese Technology and Mexican Genetic Resources

Genebank conservation research was highlighted on unique but underutilized crop species as a SATREPS project among Mexican genebank, its domestic partner institutions, and Japanese collaborators.



Author represents various members at GRC, UT, and NARO Genetic Resources Center, Tsukuba, Japan. Japanese members appreciate the cordial collaboration by the Mexican colleagues. Author acknowledges the collaborative research with SATREPS, INIFAP, SAGARPA, and genebanks at Caribbean and Central American nations to support the context of this publication.
