You can’t catch lightning bugs in a jar, not really, or seal up fresh air in a bag. and twilight—well, the problem with twilight is that we’d never know when to stop it, if we could, waiting always for one more bright burst from the dying day. In our greed we’d likely wait too long, come away with cold heaping handfuls of night, icy stars chilling orange to deep blue.
