The Poetry of Life between Construction and Deconstruction
Chapter
Abstract
In the beginning there was the word which initiated becoming through a unilateral act. It does not say “at” the beginning because that would imply a “during,” indicating a different centrality with a different focus on authority and the nature of the creative process. The “in the beginning” sets the mysterious absolute from which the poetry of life in our tradition has sprung.
