Abstract
After a short analysis of the definition of the persons with special needs (1) and the description of specific impairments (2) we will outline the basic modern policy Issues (3) and the relevant legal provisions (4). Furthermore, we shall attempt a description of the relating projects (5), the relevant non-governmental organisations (6) and finally the participation of Greece in research and educational programmes (7).
