Applications of Zagier’s Formula (I)

Abstract

In this chapter we present results from the paper [Schinzel, Urbanowicz and van Wamelen, 1999], which were proved using Zagier’s identity. A. Granville has communicated to the authors that he also deduced the main theorem of the paper from Zagier’s formula in a somewhat different way. Another application of Zagier’s identity is given in Chapter VI.
