Nature of Physics — Teachers’ Views
Chapter
Abstract
The nature of science has been under intensive study during the past decades. It is not only important to obtain detailed information about the special fields of science, e.g. physics, but also about the effects of teacher’s views on students’ conceptions of physical knowledge. This preliminary study focuses on Finnish teachers and explores their views of physics as a discipline and of physical knowledge.
