Abstract

Chapter XII described the study aimed at assessing opportunities for multiple land-use (Step 5a in Box XI.1; De Graaf & Musters, 1997). The decision making at the end of that study led to the start of a second study designed to explore the potential benefits of new land-use activities (Step 5b in Box XI. 1). The results of that study are described in the present chapter. Again the following phases of the procedure for information-gathering will be described.
