Abstract

In Australia CSIRO, in collaboration with The Broken Hill Proprietary Company, Limited (BHP), is conducting a nationally coordinated research program to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of using methane oxidative coupling as the basis of an alternative route to conventional synthesis-gas—based processes for producing olefins and transport fuels from natural gas.
