Abstract

The government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics considers it necessary to draw the attention of the government of the French Republic to the following:

It has been learned that several committees of the Bundestag have been meeting in West Berlin from the beginning of June and that the authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany plan to hold a Bundersrat meeting there on June 16. Meanwhile it is not concealed that these measures are intended as a new and major provocation against the Soviet Union, the German Democratic Republic and the other socialist states.
