Abstract

During the last two decades much attention has been paid to establishing specific and differentiated principles for the risk assessment of carcinogenesis. This is because of the social and scientific perceptions of the severity of the consequences for the population and because it is considered in toxicological evaluation as a critical point for establishing limits of exposure to very low doses under very long term exposures.
