Part of the Astrophysics and Space Science Library book series (ASSL, volume 222)

It became possible at Zürich for former colleagues from before the prolonged period of the Second World War, 1939-45, to meet again in amity and look forward to renewal of astronomical work as an international enterprise and to its future development in whatsoever way might be contrived.
