Abstract

Based upon a knowledge of all nine x-ray determined direction cosines between the crystal axes of cubic single crystals and the axial frame of rectangular specimens, a new kinematical analysis is described. The complex slip structure provides a general continuum theory and a specified bound separating domains of isotropic and orthotropic large finite deformation.
