Abstract

The problem of assessing soil pollution leads to questions what unpolluted, low polluted, polluted, and heavy polluted soils are. Where are the borderlines between these pollution qualities? To answer this we need to discriminate between: - unpolluted soil and low polluted soil, - low polluted soil and heavy polluted soil. Therefore a well structured classification system of pollution qualities of soil is proposed. This system will be universally applicable for each individual case and will be a practical handling for techniques and administration.
