Summary
A new and easy to handle reusable minifermenter for high-density culture of hybridoma cells and other cells is described. In the case of hybridoma cells cell densities of more than 10 million cells per ml, monoclonal antibody concentrations in the range of 0.5 - 4.5 mg/ml and antibody yields in the range of 20 - 100 mg were obtained within one to four weeks.
