Nervous Reflexes Involved in the Co-ordination of the Motility of internal Anal Sphincter and Urinary Bladder

Abstract

Relationships between motility of urinary bladder and internal anal sphincter (IAS) were studied by recording changes of the electromyographic activity of the IAS during stimulation of vesical afferent nerve fibers in anaesthetized spinal cats.
