Unit Processes and Machines

  • E. J. Pryor

Abstract

In this chapter a somewhat incongruous mixture is presented. Each section deals in general terms with an essential feature of ore-dressing practice. Local practice and the reader’s growing experience will best fill in details for some of the paragraphs, and the rapidly increasing volume of technical information accumulated in the research laboratories of specialising manufacturers should be studied when new plant is being considered.
