Abstract
Light-trap catches at the shore of Parakrama Samudra confirmed the existence of a caddisfly fauna which is typical for paleaotropical lakes, with dominance of Ecnomidae and Leptoceridae. Ecnomus moselyi was new for Sri Lanka.
