Pupillary Signs in Retinal and Optic Nerve Disease
Chapter
Abstract
Pupillary signs can be fit into the diagnostic puzzle of retinal and optic nerve disease if the relative afferent pupillary defect (RAPD) is first quantified. This can be done with neutral density filters (6). Using this technique, certain clinical rules of thumb have emerged.
